Czech vaccines are also heading to Australia!

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison officially announced on 12 September 2021 that Australia has purchased a total of one million doses of the Moderna vaccine from several EU countries, including the Czech Republic. A total of 129,600 doses will be sent as part of an action coordinated by the European Union.
There are now enough vaccines in the Czech Republic to accommodate any surge in vaccination demand. Therefore, the Czech Republic would probably not be able to use the supply of vaccines from Moderna, so the Czech authorities have decided to send them to Australia.

Canberra expects welcome help to speed up the vaccination campaign as early as next week.
