An exhibition dedicated to the 30^th Anniversary of the Velvet Revolution was also prepared for guests, consisting of a collection of photographs describing specific events which occurred not only in the Czech Republic, but in surrounding countries as well. The term “Velvet revolution“ resonates even in distant Australia and there is even an awareness about the revolution amongst Australians. The panel exhibition gave Australian politicians a sense of the course of the revolution as a whole and offered insight into further details which preceeded the events themselves.
