Opening Ceremony of the Škoda and Tatra Museum in Oberon

On Saturday 2nd March 2019, Mr. Ondřej Boháč, Deputy Head of Mission, officially opened the ŠKODA and TATRA Museum in Oberon, NSW.
 

Member of Parliament, Paul Toole, Mayor of the City of Oberon, Kathy Sajowitz, Museum Director Ethan Skeem and many representatives of the wider public were also among those present at the ceremonial opening of the museum. The exhibition comprised of six vehicles, manufactured by Škoda and Tatra. The museum is planning to expand the exhibition in the near future with the addition of several other pieces. Peripheral to the main showcase of Škoda and Tatra vehicles, the exhibition continued with the further display of several more historical vehicles from various other brands.

After introductory speeches were made and the museum was officially opened, guests were treated to a lunch consisting of traditional Czech dishes followed by a tour of the nearby rail museum.
