Traditional ”Majáles” In Brisbane

This year's Majáles at the Czechoslovak Club in Brisbane was also a celebration of 5 years since the Czech school was founded in the same place.

Traditions such as Majáles and Maypole building, history, culture and language form the cornerstones of the nation. In Brisbane, they not only know how to do this, but also combine traditions and teaching of both Czech and Slovak languages.

The efforts of the Brisbane compatriots were also appreciated by Ambassador Tomáš Dub, who was able to attend the Majáles for the first time in two years thanks to the end of most of the covid-19 restrictions.
