How to apply for Short-term Schengen Visa to the Czech republic

As the revised Visa Code entered into force on February 2, 2020, here is the update about Short-term (Schengen) Visa submission.
Applicants from Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi and Chongqing who wish to apply for Short-term Schengen visa to the Czech Republic can apply through the VFS Global visa centers, which are located in Chengdu, Kunming, and Chongqing.

Based on what is mentioned above it is not possible to apply for the Schengen visa directly at the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Chengdu. Exceptions are the Family members of EU citizens who, in addition to submitting their application at the Visa Center, can also use the possibility of submission directly at the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Chengdu.
