Brilliant Piano Concert of Jitka Fowler Fraňková in Chongqing

On 10th November 2016 a Czech pianist Jitka Fowler Fraňková played for a crowd of amazed Chinese classical music lovers. The concert took place under the patronage of the Consul General of the Czech Republic in Chengdu and was organized by Czech piano company PETROF and Joyful Piano Store in Chongqing.

Several hundreds of Chinese listeners enjoyed the pieces played on PETROF piano by world renowned composers such as Antonín Dvořák, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Bedřich Smetana and Frederic Chopin at the prestigious Guotai Art Center. The guests were welcomed by a speech of Consul General Zbyněk Noha and the general manager of PETROF China Ms. Jana Řeháčková.

Jitka Fowler Fraňková is one of the excellent Czech and world piano soloist, awarded by many prestigious prizes. She studied in Prague, České Budějovice, Graz and Houston. She performed as a soloist all around the world and before coming to Chongqing she toured many cities in China.

The concert was received with a great and long applause of the audience in the concert hall that convinced the artist to add some extra musical pieces. Two pieces were played together with a Chinese violinist symbolically stressing the strong cultural connection between Czechia and China.
