Chengdu was introduced to the life and work of Antonín Dvořák

An art exhibition called „DVOŘÁK – His Music and Life in Pictures“ took place in Chengdu from October 21st to 28th, 2021. The exhibition was installed in the lobby of Pingan Finance Center building, where amongst others the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Chengdu is located.
The lobby is adjacent to a frequented shopping mall and banners for the exhibition were visible through the glass walls from the street as well, inviting amongst the workers from the building or adjacent shopping mall also the passersby to come and see.
The art exhibition introduced the life and work of one of the greatest Czech composers Antonín Dvořák to chinese public on the occasion of the 180th anniversary of Mr. Dvořák´s birth and was underlined by Mr. Dvořák´s music playing from the sound system of the lobby during the whole duration of the exhibition.
