On 30th October 2016 a unique lovely concert of the Czech classical music quartet “L´Harmonia Ensemble” organised by the Czech Consulate General in Chengdu took place in Rose de Mai.
Young talented musicians of “L´Harmonia Ensemble” – Jan Rezek, Lenka Bartoníčková, Jan Pařík, Jakub Uhlík – presented pieces by Czech and world renowned composers. Around 200 guests applauded especially to the traditional Chinese Song Moli Hua (the programme of the concert is enclosed below).
The concert was opened by speeches by Consul General Zbyněk Noha and General Manager of Rose de Mai Ms. Grace Xu Yao. They pointed out that the beautiful atmosphere of the rose garden and the lovely tones of the Czech musician is an attractive combination for the listeners.
After the concert a delicious Czech dessert by excellent Czech Executive Chef from Mandarin Oriental Prague Mr. Jiří Štift was prepared for the guests. It went well with the locally produced rose tea.
