Before coming to Chicago, Jakub Utěšený was in charge of the Department of Preparation and Coordination for the Czech Presidency of the EU Council at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Prague. In previous years, Mr. Utěšený held different positions at Czech diplomatic missions in Norway and EU offices in Brussels.
