SCHENGEN VISA - Short Term Visa (for stay up to 90 days)

ENTRY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS depend on the citizenship of the applicant.

A Schengen Visa is required if you intend to stay in the Schengen Area for up to 90 days within a 180 day period for business, visitor, tourist or other purposes.

US citizens are not required to hold a Schengen Visa for a stay, which does not exceed 90 days within the 180 day period under the condition that the stay is not profitable. Under these conditions, US citizens are allowed to travel to the Schengen Area without visa.
