Golden Prague Gala, featuring Ondřej Havelka and his Melody Makers

Honoring famous Czech Chicagoans who have achieved exceptional success, the black-tie dinner will be the culmination of Prague days. It will feature the music of Ondřej Havelka and his Melody Makers, an orchestra that performed to great acclaim in Chicago in 2007.
The sculpture "Nature", originally created by Alphonse Mucha and recreated recently by his granddaughter Jarmila Mucha Plocková in cooperation with Prague sculptor Peter Nižňanský will be unveiled for the first time - thanks to the support of Mr. Richard H. Driehaus. The evening will also feature a special performance by the rock star Jim Peterik and the original members of the Ides of March.
