The Speaker of The Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic H.E. Mr. Jan Hamáček and his delegation visited Chicago on May 20 and 21.
The delegation consisted of Hon. Petr Gazdík, Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Hon. Pavel Bělobrádek, Deputy Prime Minister. H. E. Mr. Petr Gandalovič, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the USA, members of the Committee on Economic Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies, Hon. Ivan Pilný, Hon. Anna Putnová, Hon. Martin Kolovratník, Hon. Jiří Valenta and representatives of the Czech Chamber of Commerce, businesses and universities focusing on IT.
The program of the delegation included a networking evening at the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Chicago and a seminar Research and Business Opportunities for the Czech Republic in Chicagoland.
