Upcoming Concert of Ivan Ženatý and Sandra Shapiro at the Bohemian National Hall

The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York cordially invites you to a concert of Czech violinist Ivan Ženatý and American pianist Sandra Shapiro that will take place on February 6 at 7pm at the Bohemian National Hall.
 

The concert of two extraordinary musicians will present pieces by Czech composers Bohuslav Martinů and Antonín Dvořák, as well as compositions of Edward Elgar and Camille Saint-Saëns. Meanwhile Ivan Ženatý, excellent violinist and professor of the Cleveland Institute of Music is considered by music critics and audiences being “the most important Czech violinist of this time”, Sandra Shapiro is a Steinway Artist awarded by several awards and prizes both in the US and abroad. The combination of these two exceptional musicians promises an excellent performance that you are most cordially invited to witness.
