Jiří Slíva is a renowned Czech graphic artist. He focuses mainly on cartoon, lithography and book illustration. His works had been exhibited at many places in the Czech Republic, as well as abroad, and he received several prestigious cartoon festival awards. His graphic humour is usually built upon a paradox, when the otherwise serious and common themes are set into unexpected contrasts.

The Czech Embassy in Copenhagen organized the exhibition in cooperation with the House of International Theatre, Capital City of Prague, Manusarts and Škoda Transportation. The exhibition will be open from 29 April to 7 May, Monday to Saturday from 3-7 pm.
