100 years since the establishment of Czechoslovakia

The Czecho-Slovak concert, which took place on October 22, 2018 at the Italian Cultural Institute, was dedicated to the celebrations of 100th anniversary since the establishment of Czechoslovakia.

The repertoire included classical music of famous Czech and Slovak composers (A. Dvořák, Z. Fibich, E. Suchoň and B. Martinů) and was performed by a brilliant ad hoc duo: Slovak pianist Marián Lapšanský and Czech cellist living in Denmark Michaela Fukačová. As a thank-you for providing space to the Italian Cultural Institute, the musicians played an introduction of G. Puccini's opera Turandot Nessun Dorma.
