Concert of Pavel Haas String Quartet

Concert of the String Quartet Pavel Haas, including Veronika Jarůšková (1st violin), Marek Zwiebel (2nd violin), Peter Jarůšek (violoncello) and Pavel Nikl (viola) took place on 12 February in the second largest church of Helsingør diocese (Helleruplund Kirke in the Hellerup district of Copenhagen).

The Quartet was founded in 2002 and was named after the composer Pavel Haas (1899-1944), who was a pupil of famous Leoš Janáček and died in a concentration camp in Auschwitz. The ensemble has an excellent reputation in the Czech Republic and around the world. Pavel Haas String Quartet received many awards and reviews by renowned magazines.

The whole concert was recorded by the Danish Radio DR (Danske Radio).
