Czech Airlines expand to Denmark

Czech Airlines, a.s. (CSA) will this spring broaden its current offer of flights to Denmark with a new route to Billund in Jutland.

The new Czech Airlines’ flights from Václav Havel Airport Prague to Danish Billund are scheduled to take off for the first time on 30 March 2015. Four times a week, year round the carrier will operate the route by ATR 42 aircraft with the option of using a larger ATR 72 aircraft if necessary. The chosen destination should be attractive for both business travellers as well as tourists from both countries.

On work days, i.e. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, these Czech Airlines flights will continue from Billund further on to Oslo in Norway.

Czech Airlines is the national carrier of the Czech Republic. The company launched its operation in October 1923 and today it belongs to the five oldest airlines in the world. Next year CSA will celebrate in Denmark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of flights between Prague and Copenhagen in 1946.
