Czech Ambassador negotiating in Central Denmark

On February 27 - 28, 2018, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Radek Pech, went on a two-day visit to Jutland. It was in the regions of Aarhus and Silkeborg, where he met the representatives of public, business and academic sectors. This two-day long business trip also entailed preparations regarding the official opening of honorary consulate of the Czech Republic for Jutland and Funen.

The two-day visit of the Czech Ambassador to Central Denmark started off with greeting the municipality representatives of the second largest city in Denmark, Aarhus. Additionally, Radek Pech met the representatives of Aarhus University (focusing on Central European Studies) as well as the Danish Export Association.

In terms of economic diplomacy, the Ambassador participated in talks with AVK Group about production of armatures and industrial valves. Furthermore, he met with the management of JYSKE Bank, the second largest bank in Denmark, about opportunities for Czech companies in the area of export financing. Last but not least, there was a meeting with Jydsk Emblen Fabrik, which is the unique producer of promotional and marketing products in Denmark.
