Euroscience Open Forum 2014

On 21-26 June 2014 Euroscience Open Forum 2014 took place in Copenhagen. The forum is a platform for a discussion about new scientific discoveries and the future direction for scientific research in the field of natural sciences, humanities and social sciences.
Within the framework of ESOF, meetings between prominent scientists, researchers, politicians, entrepreneurs and innovators were held. This year the program offered presentations by 450 speakers, and 2750 delegates from more than 70 countries took part in the event.
The Czech Republic was represented by Arnošt Marks, Deputy Vice Prime Minister for Research, Development and Innovation, together with scientists from the Academy of Sciences in the Czech Republic.
