The fair took place on 19 - 21 October 2018 at the Øksnehallen Fair in Copenhagen and was carried out as a joint project supporting economic diplomacy of the Ministry for Regional Development and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Preparation and implementation was in the hands of closely cooperating CzechTourism agency for Scandinavia and Finland based in Stockholm and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Copenhagen. Moreover, participating in the fair was part of the Embassy’s programme celebrating 100th anniversary since the establishment of Czechoslovakia.

Quality Travel Fair ranks among the largest tourism fairs in the region and enjoys great popularity. The Czech Republic was represented at the fair by representatives of the Karlovy Vary Region (portal Živý kraj) and the Ústí nad Labem Region (portal Gate to Bohemia), the St. Katherine Resort of the Vysočina Region and representatives of the travel agencies Europe Bike Tours, Enthusia Travel and the Codan Incoming Agency, specialized in offering services to Danish clients. Those, who visited the Czech booth naturally showed the greatest interest in Prague and the possibilities offered by the Czech Republic in the area of ​​cycling. The presence of the representatives of the Karlovy Vary Region and the Ústí nad Labem Region together with beer tasting presenting small breweries of Bohemian Switzerland helped to spread interest to other regions of the Czech Republic.

Presentations of Oto Tiefenboeck, a Czech journalist living in Denmark, about the history and traditions of Czech spa, and Peter Tudvad, a Danish philosopher and writer, about places in the Czech Republic associated with the personality of Jan Hus have undoubtedly contributed to the presentation of the Czech Republic.
