The Czech Republic at the fair "Ferie for alle 2015"

On 20 – 22 February 2015 the biggest travel and tourism fair in Scandinavia FERIE FOR ALLE 2015 took place in an exhibition centre in Herning. The Czech Republic was represented by CzechTourism, the Czech agency responsible for promoting the country abroad, and the company Czech Airlines.
 

The international fair was held in 13 exhibition halls covering an area of almost 62.000 m². The thematic programme focused on five areas this year: International (travelling abroad), Denmark (travelling around Denmark), Camping, Outdoor and Danish Golf Show.

The Czech Republic was presented at an official stand together with Poland and Hungary. The Czech ambassador Jiří Brodský visited the exposition. He also met bilaterally in Herning with the Managing director of the exhibition and congress centre MCH Georg Sørensen, the director of CzechTourism Scandinavia and Finland Lucie Vallin and several representatives of Danish travel agencies offering tours to the Czech Republic.

According to data from the Czech Statistical Office from 9 February 2015, a total of 8,1 million foreign tourists used collective accommodation establishments in the Czech Republic in 2014, of which 93,618 were from Denmark.
