UPCOMING EVENT: Lecture ”Knud Rasmussen and the Greenlandic Myths” in Skive

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Copenhagen invites to a joint lecture with the title ”Knud Rasmussen and the Greenlandic Myths” by the Czech Ambassador and translator Zdeněk Lyčka and the curator and responsible for the Knud Rasmussen´s House in Hundested, Søren la Cour Jensen. The lecture will take place Thursday 10 March 2011 at 19:00 at Skive Museum.

The lecture is a part of so-called “Greenlandic Days” in Skive, a series of lectures and educational activities arranged in connection with an exhibition of illustrations by the Czech artist Martin Velíšek “Greenlandic Myths with Pen and Ink“. The illustrations were created for the publication of Czech a selection of Greenlandic myths and legends translated to Czech by Viola and Zdeněk Lyčka.
