New conditions for entry of persons to the Czech Republic (from December 7, 2021 ) and Denmark (from December 27, 2021)

Passengers travelling to Denmark must present negative test!
For travels to the Czech Republic is Denmark in a DARK RED category.

The rules to enter Denmark have been tightened as of 27th December 2021.

Passengers traveling to Denmark irrespective of citizenship or vaccination status have to present a negative PCR test (72h) or a negative antigenne test (48h) before entering Denmark. Facemasks and coronapas were reintroduced on 29 November. Persons in transit who will leave Denmark within 24 hours after entry do not need to present a negative test. The restrictions are in place from December 27, 2021 until January 17, 2022 and there is a list of exceptions. Absence of a negative test will result in a fine of 3500 DKK.

Person does not have to present a negative test if he/she:

● has residency in Denmark

● children up to 15 years

● cannot undergo a test due to health reasons (physical or mental)

● is transiting through Sweden on the way from Bornholm

● has residency in border areas to Denmark

● is a resident and has been to a foreign country due to job or study

● is a aircraft crew member

● is coming to Denmark to deliver goods or has been in a foreign country to deliver goods

● will leave Denmark within 24 hours after entry

● is occupied as a driver in transport services i.e. bus, train, ship or is a driver in other transport services and has a permit according to the taxi services law.

 

Travel into the Czech Republic is allowed, Denmark is in a DARK RED category  (from the 22nd November 2021)

EU+ citizens, given they meet all epidemiological conditions, will be allowed to travel into the Czech Republic for any purpose, including tourism.

Regarding the non-EU countries, the ban on entering the territory of the Czech Republic is still in force, except for green countries and specified categories that are in compliance with the coordinated approach of EU.

DARK RED CATEGORY:

  1. test before or after (5 days at latest) entering the Czech Republic,
  2. negative PCR or antigen test is accepted, self-isolation is not mandatory while waiting for the results,
  3. necessary to fill in the✔️ Passenger Locator Form (in case you have further questions, you can contact the help desk at: plfsupport@mzcr.cz).

EXCEPTIONS:

  1. persons who had Covid-19 in last 180 days,
  2. persons fully vaccinated in the EU+ countries - 14 days after application of the last dose,
  3. Czech citizens and EU+ citizens fully vaccinated in a third country with the EMA approved vaccination when it is at least 14 days after application of the last dose.

Denmark: On 27th December 2021 new travel rules entered into force. All passengers regardless of citizenship and vaccination status have to present a negative PCR test (72h) or an antigen test (48h) before entering Denmark. Residents and persons in transit do not have to present a negative test. Nevertheless, residents should take the test up to 24 hours after arrival. There is a list of exceptions to the restrictions

From Monday 29 November, the use of facemasks in public transport, supermarkets, shopping malls or hospitals is mandatory. Furthermore, persons above 15 years are obliged to show coronapas at number of places.
