(This article expired 15.03.2020.)

The Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports offers two scholarships to Danish applicants at the courses of Summer School of Slavonic Studies 2020.

Summer Schools of Slavonic Studies (SSSS) are study courses organized by several public universities in the Czech Republic. Courses are held annually during the summer months (July, August, September). Their duration ranges from 3 to 4 weeks. The length of the course is determined by the organizing school.

Within the framework of their educational blocks, the individual organizing schools offer Czech language courses at various levels of proficiency, selective seminars focused on Czech literature, culture and history, leisure activities including theater, music and dance performances, excursions, sightseeing tours, etc.

The courses are designed for foreign students, specialists (teachers, translators, interpreters) and academics in the field of Czech studies and Slavonic studies who are over 18 years old. However, they are open to all those interested in the Czech language, literature, history, and culture.

Please, send your application to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Copenhagen no later than 14 March 2020. The Embassy will then forward the applications to the Ministry – the chosen applicants will be duly informed.
