“The Last Race” in Husets Biograf

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Copenhagen and Husets Biograf cordially invite you to the Czech Film Night, which will take place Tuesday the 7th of March 2023 at 7:30 p.m. in Husets Biograf, Rådshusstræde 13, Copenhagen K.

In March, the 110th anniversary of the ski race in which Bohumil Hanč and Václav Vrbata died in the Giant Mountains, will pass.

For the March screening, we have therefore chosen the epic film drama The Last Race (2022), directed by Tomáš Hodan, which presents the events of the time from the frosty ridges of the Giant Mountain Peaks as they really happened, including the important, albeit forgotten character of the German athlete Emerich Rath.

Come and see an exciting story about heroism, courage, will and friendship.
