Under the aegis and with the cooperation of the Czech Embassy a concert with the Moravian Teachers Choir (PSMU) took place at Sorgenfri Church. The concert was held in the frame of the project Czech Dreams 2007.

From May till the end of the year 2007, the second consecutive year of an international cultural project aimed at European musical cooperation takes place. The project supports the partnership between European towns and regions and initiates cooperation between Czech and foreign artists. In the mentioned period of time 120 concerts in 18 countries will take place, all outside the capitals of the 18 countries. The music is mainly classical. An important partner and co-creator is the South Moravian Region and the main media partner is Czech Radio. Prior to the concert in Denmark, concerts were held in Sweden.

The programme of the PSMU consisted of both a Czech and international repertoire of songs, including works of B. Smetana, L. Ja náček, E. Suchoň, B. Pokorný, J.B Förster, K. Harant, G. Da Palestrina, J.G Händel, Q. Pipol and C. Orff.

PSMU was founded in Krom ěříž in 1903 by the pedagogue and choirmaster Ferdinand Vach and already from the year 1905 the choir was performing abroad and gained great popularity both at home and on tours. The choir interpreted both Czech and foreign composers and specialized themselves in the works of L. Janáček. In 1904 Ja náček herd the choir sing and from that time he personally attended the choir's rehearsals when they were practicing his music. Other significant choirmasters of the PSMU are Jan Šoupal, Antonín Tučapský, Oldřich Halma og Lubomír Mátl, the current choirmaster. L. Mátl has previously been conducting the Brno Academic Choir (Br něnský akademický sbor ), the Slovak Philharmonic Choir (Slovenský filharmonický sbor), the Choir of the Czech Radio

(Český rozhlasový smíšený sbor) and the Prague Philharmonic Choir. During Mátls leadership the PSMU has received many awards, including the prestigious Classic´ 96 award for their interpretation of the works of Leo š Janáček.

The concert at Sorgenfri Chur ch was very well received, the audience requested an encore. The concert was followed by a glass of wine arranged by the embassy and the sponsor of the event Telekommunikation Kubic - Mr. Lau Lindberg. The audience had the opportunity to talk to the choir members and the choirmaster L. Mátl and thank them for the profound musical experience of the concert.

The audience consisted of Czech nationals living in Denmark, interested locals from Copenhagen, Sorgenfri and the surrounding area, members of a similar mixed choir from Virum. One of the Choir members of the Virum choir, Czech Hana Haugland, is the main force behind the concert. Present were also diplomats and ambassadors from for example The Slovak Republic, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Poland, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, Serbia and Ghana.
