Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival

The Festival of documentary films with foreign participation was held in Copenhagen on 9 – 18 November 2007.

The Festival of documentary films with foreign participation was held in Copenhagen on 9 - 18 November 2007. It is the biggest festival of its kind in Scandinavia. Within the framework of the festival there were projections of documentary films, four international competitions, thematic sidebars, seminars and panel discussions. As for Czech participation, eight films were introduced. Their Directors: David Čalek, Tomáš Hodan, Erika Hníková, Jan Šikl, Tomáš Kudrna, Zdeněk N. Brikovský, Martin Ryšavý a Karel Vachek.

Thanks to the cooperation of the festival organizers with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Denmark, a Czech representative Ms. Nina Numankadič could take part in the panel discussion entitled "21st Century Doc Distribution", held at the Danish Film Institute on 15 November. She presented the project Doc Alliance, space for documentary films with on line access.
