Ján Mančuška is the only Czech artist participating in U-TURN and one of the first artists that U-TURN invited to Copenhagen already in the spring of 2007. Ján´s new work, a theater performance called Reverse Play, was introduced here in Copenhagen in cooperation with The Royal Danish Theatre on 6 and 7 September.  

Ján Mančuška is appreciated by organizers of U-TURN as a unique and highly recognized artist of his generation whose work is strongly characterized by reference to a central european literary tradition and a conceptual approach to the way an action can be subjected to new ways of experience through the relation to moving image and spoken word. In the Czech republic he was awarded Chalupecký Prize in 2004.
