The best Czech film of 2009 (6 Czech Lion Awards) Protector received awardsat International Film festivals in Krakow and Vilnius and the Czech Film Critics Award at Febiofest International Film Festival 2010 in Prague. The film attracted diplomats (e.g. Ambassador of Austria, Latvia, Indonesia, Ireland, Chargé d´affaires of Malta), Danish public and Czech expatriots and students, who completely filled the screening hall (capacity of  70 persons).
