Speech by the Ambassador at the celebration of the Greenlandic National Day

On 21 June 2012, the Greenlandic House in Copenhagen arranged a celebration of the Greenlandic National Day.

On 21 June 2012, the Greenlandic House in Copenhagen arranged a celebration of the Greenlandic National Day. The director of the Greenlandic House, Inger Bruun, had an opening speech which was followed by Ambassador Zdeněk Lyčka´s speech (DK, GL). The Ambassador emphasized the successful development of Greenlandic-Czech relations on both political and cultural levels and he wished Greenland all the best on the way to future prosperity. He also pointed out the summer exhibition of illustrations by Martin Velíšek to the Czech translation of Greenlandic Myths and Legends by Knud Rasmussen which was held in the restaurant „Ajamut“ in the Greenlandic House. After the Ambassador´s speech the choir MIK and music groups performed.
