Working Visit by the Electoral Committee of the Czech Parliament

On 14 – 16 December 2015 a delegation of the Election Committee from the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic led by the Chairman Martin Komárek paid a working visit to Denmark.

Programme of the visit included consultations with the partner committee in the Danish Folketing, but also meetings at the Danish Ministry of Culture, main Danish public service media channel DR, private media channel TV 2 Danmark, regional TV2 Lorry and with the Chairman of The Radio and Television Board.

The Czech members of Parliament used this occasion to consult their Danish counterparts on the Danish model of funding public service media channel, election process of the management boards, and to exchange their experiences from the legislative work. At the same time, they also got acquainted with the system of media license.
