Meeting with Denmark's Minister of Culture

On 25 April 2016 the Czech Ambassador and Mrs Hana Brodská had the honor to host Danish Minister of Culture Mr. Bertel Haarder with his wife. A working lunch at the Ambassador's residence was held in connection with the upcoming Minister’s visit to the Czech Republic, which will take place on the occasion of the fair Book World Prague 2016 held on 12 – 15 May 2016. Seventeen Nordic authors will participate in the fair, including Danish writers Kim Leine and Kaspar Colling Nielsen.

The meeting of the Minister with the Ambassador was an opportunity to discuss the cultural events prepared in the Czech Republic and specifically within the Czech-Danish relations, but they also discussed current political issues related to the membership of both countries in the European Union.
