The Ambassador met the representatives from both government and the business community to discuss opportunities to expand bilateral trade, especially through the upcoming public tenders in infrastructure, energy and also food industry.

The official programme included presentation of the Czech Republic in the House of Industry for the representatives of the Faroes businesses, Ambassador's lecture at the University of Tórshavn and opening of an exhibition “Václav Havel 1968-2003”. The exhibition is one of the activities initiated by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Copenhagen on the occasion of this year's 80^th anniversary since the birth of Václav Havel.
