Czech power engineering firms in Denmark

On 7 February 2017 the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Copenhagen hosted a presentation and matchmaking event for the Czech power engineering companies.

In cooperation with CzechTrade Scandinavia, the Czech Embassy organized a presentation of leading Czech companies in power engineering. The event was held on 7 February 2017 in the framework of pro-export activities in support of economic diplomacy and its main objective was to present the Czech suppliers in energy sector to the procurement division of the biggest energy conglomerate on the Danish market DONG ENERGY A/S.

The project was realised in the form of matchmaking, including eight Czech companies: Doosan Škoda Power, Vítkovice Machinery Group, Ekol Energo s.r.o., Modřany Power a.s., Bluetech s.r.o., Provyko s.r.o., Mico s.r.o., Armatury Group a.s.

The Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Denmark, Mr. Jiří Brodský, opened the event emphasizing that “the Czech Republic is recognized in Denmark as a renowned supplier of energy units, heating plants and incinerators. This is demonstrated also by the success of Doosan Škoda Power last year, when it concluded a contract for supplying a complete machine hall and related equipment to the Amagerværket biomass plant in Copenhagen.
