Czech Airlines will fly to Aarhus four times a week (Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday) and the route will be operated by the ATR72 aircraft. It is a second direct connection of the Czech national carrier Czech Airlines between the Czech Republic and Denmark. A regular connection Prague-Copenhagen is operated since 1946.

The Czech Ambassador to Denmark commented the opening of the new flight connection: “This year, Aarhus, the second largest city in Denmark, is the European Capital of Culture and offers great variety of cultural and sporting activities. In this city, there is a beautiful old town, renowned university, but also an amazing museum of modern art ARoS or modern library Dokk1. Every year in May, the most beautiful Nordic car event and meeting of car fans from all over Europe Classic Race Aarhus takes place here. I believe, that thanks to the Czech Airlines flight connection, more Czech tourists will discover Aarhus and the coast of northern Jutland, and that Bohemia and Moravia will become more accessible to Danish tourists and businessmen from Aarhus and the surrounding regions. Thanks to Czech Airlines, Prague also offers the Danish customers convenient connecting flights to Europe and overseas.”
