Ambassador on a business trip to central Jutland

On 30 May 2018, the Czech Ambassador to Denmark, Radek Pech, visited the city of Horsens in central Jutland after being invited by the mayor Peter Sørensen along with the significant contribution of the former honorary consul in Horsens Niels Burcharth.

The city representatives discussed further possibilities of partnerships with Czech cities emphasizing the already existing contacts between schools. During the unique visit of the cultural center of Fæangslet - once famous Danish prison, an agreement on public diplomacy projects cooperation has been reached. The program followed a dinner hosted by the local Rotary Club, where the ambassador Pech delivered a speech about the Czech Republic and answered on many questions from the audience regarding the economic situation of the Czech Republic, its position in the European Union, cooperation with Visegrad countries, attitudes towards migration and relations with Russia.
