Concert of BraAgas in Copenhagen

The Czech band BraAgas featuring talented Kateřina Göttlichová, Karla Braunová, Michala Hrbková, Michaela Krbcová and Jan Hrbek travelled to Copenhagen to perform at the international Copenhagen World Music Festival on 6 September 2018. Due to the occasion, BraAgas shared the rhythms of world and medieval music at the Czech Embassy residence and pleased the audience with very energetic performance.  If you missed the chance to go to the concert, they will perform once again in Denmark on December 6, this time in Hillerød.

 

This remarkable band celebrates its 10th anniversary and has previously won a few awards such as the award Colours Talents in 2009 or another Czech renowned award called ´Angel´ for their album Tapas. All members of the band are highly skilled musicians with beautiful vocals and a sense of rhythm. BraAgas played an acoustically bursting mix of Sephardic, Bulgarian, Czech and other folk songs from various corners of the world, accompanied by classical guitars and violin as well as exotic instruments such as darbuka, cajón or nyckelharpa.
