Czech finalists of Miss Panenka junior visited Unicef warehouse

On Thursday, November 15, pupils of primary school in Benešeov and in Slabce visited the Unicef warehouse in Copnehagen which is at the same time the largest in the world. The possibility to have a look at the background of humanitarian aid was a reward for participating in the charity competition Miss Panenka junior (Miss Doll junior) where they ended among the top ranks.

During their visit the children had the opportunity to look inside the boxes of humanitarian aid that is being distributed to their peers around the world. Local staff informed them about different projects Unicef focuses on such as nutrition, clean water and education. The pupils went from an interesting visit to the warehouse to the visit of the Czech Embassy in Copehagen where the work of a diplomat was presented by the ambassador Radek Pech and he was ready to answer all the questions children might have.
