Successful presentation of Czech breweries in Copenhagen

On 6 and 7 September 2019, nine small and medium-sized breweries presented themselves to the Danish public and potential business partners as part of a project to promote economic diplomacy “Czech Beer Days in Copenhagen”.  The event, organized in cooperation with CzechTourism, also contributed to the promotion of the Czech Republic as a destination for so-called beer tourism.

Břevnov Monastery Brewery, Kamenice Brewery, the Princely Brewery of Plasy, Pardubice Brewery, Two Roosters Prague Bewery, Nymburk Brewery, Rohozec Brewery, Svijany Brewery and Žatec Brewery received valuable contacts among potential business partners of beer importers, retail chains and owners of beer restaurant networks during the matchmaking seminar and presentation on 6 September at Embassy of the Czech Republic in Copenhagen. Together with the South Bohemian Region, they presented themselves as attractive destinations for Danish tourists in the area of so-called beer tourism.

Saturday's attendance at the Danish Beer Day celebration on 7 September was valuable opportunity to introduce the production of Czech Breweries to the Danish public. The event attracted wide interest and Czech beer was very positively received among hundreds of visitors.
