In the allotment gardens on the Libeň Island, a group of friends – not very successful but still more or less satisfied outsiders – meet in a small pub called U Buddyho. They play cards and experience small life joys and shouts. One day they all come together to help a friend who has attended a local rummage sale and became a victim of players of a crooked shell game and loses all the money. All the regulars of Tonda's pub come up with a plan to get justice.
