Screening of the film "Protector"

On Tuesday 4 February 2020, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Copenhagen and Husets Biograf arranged a traditional film night. On the occasion of this year’s 75th anniversary since the end of the Second World War we will screen a drama Protector (2009) by director Marek Najbrt. In 2009, the film received the Czech Lion Award in 6 categories.

A Czech journalist joins a Prague radio station, which broadcasts Nazi propaganda in order to protect his Jewish wife. However, as the Nazi rule over Czechoslovakia calls for more and more collaboration, his relationship with his wife spirals downward.
