Information on ETIAS travel authorization

Starting from 2024, the rules of travel to most European countries are changing.

Starting from 2024, the rules of travel to most European countries are changing. The change will affect third-country nationals who are exempt from the visa requirement for short-term travel to the Schengen area (stays of up to 90 days). These foreign nationals will now be required to apply electronically for a travel authorization in the ETIAS system - the European Travel Authorization and Information System. The application for ETIAS travel authorization will be submitted electronically and will be subject to an administrative fee of EUR 7. The validity of ETIAS travel authorization is set at 3 years.

It is expected that ETIAS will become operational during 2024. More information on the ETIAS travel authorization can be found on the official website of the EU on ETIAS.
