Commemoration of 75th anniversary of Zetor

To celebrate Czech tractor manufacturer Zetor’s, 75th Anniversary in Ireland, H.E. Ambassador Kynštetr travelled to Westmeath for a social distance gathering with Zetor’s manager Gerry Rabbitte. At the meeting the Ambassador tried out the new Zetor Proxima and visited farms along the way. Zetor has played a pivotal role in the mechanization of Irish farms since the 1940s and the Ambassador would like to continue this tradition.

Ambassador Kynštetr and Zetor Manager for Ireland Mr.  Gerry Rabbitte agreed that a collaboration at the next National Ploughing Championships is needed to jointly promote Czech engineering and potential for agricultural mechanization. There is still lots to be discovered about Zetor, such as its new Ferrari design by designer Pininfarina and new Primo and Compax range.
