Final of the 12th Dublin International Pianist Competition with the participation of a Czech pianist

The grand final of the prestigious Dublin International Piano Competition took place this year after a two-year pandemic break on 24 May at the National Concert Hall in Dublin. This time, a promising young Czech pianist Robert Bílý - a student at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and a winner of a number of international competitions, including the first prize at the International Music Festival in Paris (2020), also made it to the final. The Czech ambassador to Ireland, Petr Kynštetr, came to support the Czech candidate during the final evening, and on that occasion he also met the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins and his wife Sabina Higgins.
