The opening of academic year for Czech students at the Dundalk Institute of Technology

On September 16, 2022, Ambassador Petr Kynštetr participated in the opening of the academic year at the Dundalk Institute of Technology at the invitation of President Dr Michael Mulvey, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Registrar Dr Sheila Flanagan and „The Czech and Slovak Society“. The Institute represents one of the most significant universities outside of Dublin. More than 100 Czech and fewer Slovak students attend the university.
Ambassador Kynštetr appreciated the university's work and her importance regarding the education of the young generation in his speech delivered in front of the gathered Czech students and the school management. A debate with the students followed in which Ambassador Kynštetr together with Deputy Head of Mission Filip Vurm answered students' questions concerning, for instance, the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
