Visa services at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Dublin - information on reopening

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Dublin is resumimg the visa services as of 1st July 2020. Due to the situation of the COVID-19 epidemic and the current travel advice to avoid all the non-essential travels put in place by the Irish government, the visa application process is going to work on a limited base, complying with hygienic measures.

As of July 13th applicants for Schengen visas and long-term visas and residence permits for purposes of economic and education activities are obliged to submit document on fulfilling requirements against introduction of infectious disesease: Confirmation of an entity receiving in the teritory of the Czech Republic a third country citizen for the purpose of economic activity or educational activity (DOCX, 136 KB) Schengen visa applicants upon lodging the application, long-term visa applicants when collecting the visa. 

 

It is responsability of the applicant to check the conditions of entry to the Czech Republic: The rules for entering the territory of the Czech Republic and quarantine measures are defined by the Ministry of Health. List of countries with a low risk of COVID-19 contagion is ca be found here: Low risk countries (PDF, 18 KB). Quarantine measures and RT-PCR test conditions are the responsibility of the Ministry of Health.
