General Information and public notices

 Due to the situation of the COVID-19 epidemic the conditions for travelling are subject to constant change. Please always check the current travelling conditions and requirements for entry into the Czech Republic before applying for an appointment and again before the travel.

Appointments for long term visa can only be arranged by emailing: consulate_dublin@mzv.cz.

Appointments for Schengen visa can only be arranged by calling the phone number: +353 (0)1 668 1135.

Please note that there is an extremely high demand for Schengen visas. We are currently fully booked for Schengen visa until the end of March and the booking system is temporarily closed. Appointments for April will be open on February 27th. Please call +353 (0)1 668 1135 starting 9 am on February 27th.





As of July 13th applicants for Schengen visas and long-term visas and residence permits for purposes of economic and education activities are obliged to submit document on fulfilling requirements against introduction of infectious disesease: Confirmation of an entity receiving in the teritory of the Czech Republic a third country citizen for the purpose of economic activity or educational activity (DOCX, 136 KB) Schengen visa applicants upon lodging the application, long-term visa applicants when collecting the visa.
