Commemoration of Czechoslovak WWII soldiers at Eindhoven cemetery

On 5 June 2015 Ambassadors of the Czech Republic and Slovakia in the Netherlands, H.E. Ms. Jana Reinišová and H.E. Mr. Jaroslav Chlebo, honoured the memory of three Czechoslovak R.A.F. soldiers who crashed with their aircraft on 14 April 1942 during the fights in the Nazi-occupied Netherlands and lost their lives.

These three Czechoslovak soldiers (Oldřich Havlík, Josef Taláb, Pavel Varjan) were honoured during the ceremony at Eindhoven-Woensel cemetery. Both Ambassadors together with a representative of the municipality laid flowers at the graves of the soldiers and a wreath at the main monument of the cemetery.
