Commemoration of Czechoslovak WWII soldiers at Eindhoven cemetery

On 18 May 2018 Ambassadors of the Czech Republic and Slovakia in the Netherlands, H.E. Ms. Jana Reinišová and H.E. Mr. Roman Bužek, honoured the memory of three Czechoslovak R.A.F. soldiers who crashed with their aircraft on 14 April 1942 during the fights in the Nazi-occupied Netherlands and lost their lives.

These three Czechoslovak soldiers (Oldřich Havlík, Josef Taláb, Pavel Varjan) were honoured during the ceremony at Eindhoven-Woensel cemetery. Both Ambassadors together with a representative of the municipality Mrs. Mary-Ann Schreurs and representative of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Mr. Alex Kalma laid flowers and representative of at the graves of the soldiers and a wreath at the main monument of the cemetery.
