Concert- Rivals at the Hague Court

To mark the end of the exhibition „Rivals at the Hague Court“ (Rivalen aan het Haagse Hof) at the Haags Historisch Museum, Duo Aurette will perform music from the times of Elisabeth Stuart and Amalia von Solms, to whom the exhibiton is dedicated.  The visitors will have the last opportunity to attend the exhibition depicting the complicated relationship between the two aristocrat women. The concert is organised by the Czech Centre Rotterdam in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in The Hague and the Haags Historisch Museum.
 

Duo Aurette consists of Lucie Rozsnyó (soprano) a Katalin Ertsey (lute and theorbo). The musicians are focusing on the Renaissance and Baroque music from the 16th and 17th century.  The program of the concert includes music by e. g. Monteverdi, Purcell and Kapsperger.
